infO(1)Talks & Eastern Community Lounge

The „infO(1) Robotics” club at „I. L. Caragiale” National College recently hosted its third annual event in collaboration with the „Eastern Foxes” team, showcasing a dynamic series of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) expert conferences. Drawing inspiration from the acclaimed „IUF – The International University Fair” model, this event served as a platform for young robotics enthusiasts to exchange ideas, engage with industry experts, and explore new horizons in the field.

Over the course of 7 hours, from 10:00 to 17:00, the event welcomed a diverse array of participants, including representatives from various youth organizations, NGOs, school clubs, and extracurricular groups in Ploiești. Among the notable attendees were the Prahova County Youth Foundation (FJT), the „Clever Minds” science club, the „Wild Ink” creative writing club, „Want to Study in America,” the „Smile” Association, the „Ad Astra” Association, and the „AES” Social Education Association.

One of the highlights of the event was the presence of SMURD volunteers, who provided invaluable insights into their work methods and offered practical examples and lessons to help young participants navigate various emergency situations they might encounter. Additionally, representatives from robotics clubs such as „BraveBots” and „RO2D2” from „Mihai Viteazul” National College in Ploiești joined the event, further enriching the exchange of ideas and experiences.

The event also featured a series of engaging activities and speeches by special guests at the Europa Hall. Renowned speakers shared their successful career journeys and offered invaluable insights to inspire young attendees, providing them with guidance and advice on future endeavors in various fields of interest. Through interactive debates, audience participation, and open discussions, attendees were able to actively engage with industry professionals, fostering a sense of collaboration and innovation within the robotics community.
