Regional #4 has just concluded, during which 48 teams from the Moldova region gathered to compete on-field and impress the judges with their work from the past year. For 3 days straight, starting March 8th, Agora Events in Iași became its own universe: from the traditional „hora”, the famous mascot dance, up until the intensity of the final awards, the teams truly left their mark on the event hall. We eagerly await the National stage, to see how Agora Events radiates once again with the FIRST spirit and Gracious Professionalism!

The first day kicked off with interviews and setting up the pits, allowing time to explore all the activities and challenges prepared by the teams: the classic target games by The Eagles 21028 and HomoSapiens 19053, Social Well of MechaByte 22590, Boogeybots 19061 quiz, interactive painting by ByteForce 19234, push-up contest of StefTech 19148, and of course, the ever-present jumbo photo frames. The pits were more successful than ever, with popcorn from Heart of Robots 20265 and Eu codez 22017, military equipment from Stef Tech 19148, and the undeniable contribution of all mascots. This first part of the Regional concluded with a Training Demo, won by AiCitizens 19066.

Saturday began with pit judging and qualification matches, getting to 60 out of 72. The High Score was achieved in match 5 by Velocity Red 21087 and CyberLIS76 23161 (rookie team), who won with 470 points to 163 against Peppers 19044 and RiverWolves 17881. This was possible due to 23 minor penalties and 1 major, totaling 260 points.

Alliances 2 and 3 played 3 matches, concluding with a 2-1 victory for Snake-Tech40 19139. Thus, the grand final was played between alliances 1 and 3, ending the Regional with a clear victory for The Eagles 21028 and the title of Winning Alliance Captain!
