Over the weekend of April 6th and 7th, Afi Ploiești hosted the Ro2D2’s STEAM Workshop, a noteworthy event aimed at engaging young people and children in the realms of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). The event provided a platform for attendees to immerse themselves in a range of interactive activities, each designed to offer insights into the STEAM disciplines in an engaging manner.
A Look Back at the Event Schedule
The workshop spanned two days, beginning on Friday, April 6th, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and continued on Saturday, April 7th, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. These sessions were structured to allow participants ample opportunity to delve into each activity, fostering both learning and enjoyment.
Activities That Encouraged Learning
The Ro2D2’s STEAM Workshop presented a variety of sessions, each aimed at stimulating interest and understanding in different STEAM areas:
- LEGO Spike Robot Races: Attendees engaged in constructing and racing LEGO Spike robots, an activity that blended the excitement of competition with fundamental robotics and engineering concepts.
- Coloring Workshop: A dedicated space for artistic expression, this workshop catered primarily to younger participants, allowing them to showcase their creativity through coloring.
