Hands-On STEM Workshop

STEM WORKSHOP is an event designed to introduce children aged 11 to 18 to the exciting world of robotics, specifically the process of building an FTC robot. With our guidance, participants will explore the stages of designing, building, and programming a robot. They’ll begin by learning the basics of 3D modelling using Autodesk Fusion 360, gaining foundational skills to support them as they progress.

As they advance, students will receive step-by-step guidance to create a robot that complies with FIRST Tech Challenge competition standards. Once the design phase is complete, they can bring their creations to life, building and programming their robot to handle most tasks expected in an actual match. CyLiis team members (#19043) will work closely with them, offering support and hands-on experience throughout the process.

Our ultimate goal for this event is to inspire young people to form their robotics teams in schools, sparking their curiosity about technology and engineering. We also aim to foster an appreciation for FIRST values and promote these ideals within our community and beyond.
