“Vreau la FTC” – An Open Path to Robotics
For many students, robotics begins with a simple question: “Is this for me?”
“Vreau la FTC” is the project that answers this question by opening the door to FIRST Tech Challenge for students in grades 5–11, from all corners of Romania.
The initiative transforms FTC from an abstract concept into an accessible experience. Through online meetings, real-life stories, and direct connections with robotics teams, students discover what it truly means to build, program, and be part of a STEM community. It’s not just about robots, but about people, ideas, and the courage to try something new.
Coordinated by Soft Hoarders, the project relies on a network of local FTC ambassadors and regional webinars, offering participants the chance to ask questions, receive guidance, and understand the journey of a robotics team from the inside.
“Vreau la FTC” encourages students to turn their passion for technology into an activity that fosters creativity, collaboration, and engineering thinking. It is the first step in a journey where learning becomes hands-on and curiosity turns into innovation.
Follow the project and find out when it reaches your county — this might be where your journey into the world of robotics begins.
