Missoula Robot Reveal & Scrimmages

On March 7th, 2026, Missoula Robotics Team 3216 will be hosting their robot reveal for the 2025/2026 FIRST Rebuilt Season. The Missoula Robotics Team 3216 (MRT) was founded in 2009 and was the first FRC team in the Montana region, becoming a groundbreaking team and promoting STEM and FIRST development. They are dedicated to supporting and providing STEM opportunities in their community through outreach and developing vital hands-on skills through robotics. MRT’s program includes two additional FTC teams: MRT 16 and MRT 23887.

During their inspiring robot reveal, MRT 3216 will be inviting both FLL and FTC teams from across the region to participate in high-energy match demonstrations and scrimmages for the public to enjoy. Montana’s second and newest FRC team, Garage Gang 11025, will be joining the robot reveal and FRC match demonstration.

Taking place at the Sentinel High School Gym, doors will open to the public at 1 pm and the robot reveal will begin promptly after. MRT students will unveil the robot they’ll be taking to competitions in Flagstaff, Arizona, and Boise, Idaho in March with a live match demonstration. The event will then kick off with FTC and FLL match scrimmages. Numerous FTC and FLL teams from the Montana region will demonstrate matches for the FIRST Decode Game (FTC) and FIRST Unearthed Game (FLL). During the scrimmages and match demonstrations,  audience members can view demos of the Skills USA – Urban Search & Rescue robot designed by MRT students and explore the Build, Programming, CAD, Business & Media, and Scouting sub-teams of team 3216. Participating FTC and FLL teams will also display their outreach projects and season journey at this time.

Calling all community members, friends, family, teams, and STEM individuals from the Montana region! Missoula Robotics Team 3216 is enthusiastic to kick off this event in Missoula and would love to see you there!
